Before I reached millionaire status and shut them up… there were many friends in my life and even some family members that used to tease me and look down on me because I didn’t subscribe to their mindset. They tried hard to tell me what was best for my life and they would say things like… “You need to get a real job and just be thankful for it.”… “You need to get your head out of the clouds and realize that business opportunities are all scams.”… and… “The only people who become millionaires are the ones who get lucky.”

Perhaps you can identify with some of these statements because like me you’ve also heard these and many others from those people in your life who always seem to know what’s best for you.

But here’s the thing… if these people know what’s best for you… why then aren’t they millionaires? I mean they have all the answers… right? WRONG!

My philosiphy on life is actually quite simple and it’s always served me very well…

NEVER LISTEN TO ANYONE IN LIFE UNLESS THEY ARE DOING BETTER THAN YOU AND CAN HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS.

Most people who try and talk you out of your dreams (I call them dream stealer’s) will do just that IF you allow them too… they will steal your dreams. They do it because they don’t want the bar to be raised for them. It’s easier if they simply keep you back where they are.

You should have seen the faces of some of the very same people who were so vocal about what was best for me way back before I made it in life.  They were stunned, shocked and they ceertainly were scratching their heads trying to figure ot all out! And I have to be honest with you here and tell you that I absolutely loved it! I ate it all up!

Some were really happy for me and others still tried to hold on to their limited beliefs and narrowmindedess and say it was just a fluke etc. Listen, some people are stubburn and they refuse to expand their mind or to allow themselves to grow. Thank God this is a choice we all have and we can either choose to settle for a life of mediocrity or we can become empowered to awaken our inner millionaire and create the high quality of life we truly deserve.
